DAY TRIPPING AT THE VALLARTA ZOO

My wife and I took a day trip up to Puerto Vallarta the other day to get art/photography supplies. I took a few photos along the way. Here's how the day went ... we started early in the morning for the drive up the coast and stopped for homemade bread at a little mom & pop roadside oven (not really a restaurant … just a cool little place to enjoy the mountains and pine trees). Then we continued on to pick up the supplies. After that I asked Rosy if she would like to stop at the Vallarta Zoo because we had always wanted to go there but never did. So we went ... Rosy just loves animals and I knew she would love it. I had a blast taking photos of animals (which is a first, I've only taken photos of an occasional dog or cat but never lions or giraffes). After that we headed to the beach to grab a few beers and something to eat. The day was clear and the vista was incredible. Well, here's a few photos from our day trip to the Vallarta Zoo and more. PURE PARADISE

My wife and I took a quick trip up north to Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias to get more photography supplies and also to drop off some of my photos to exhibit in Bucerias. On the way back I decided to treat my wife to a place I discovered a few years ago with friends. This is a very special place just south of Mismaloya. It’s a restaurant that’s pure paradise! This place is without a doubt, one of the most spectacular places to view the Pacific Ocean that I have ever seen. This place is called LeKliff, and it is truly amazing! A VISIT TO PUERTO VALLARTA

I recently went to Puerto Vallarta with my wife to visit friends who were down from California. My wife hadn't been to Puerto Vallarta since she was a child, so she was pretty excited, plus we haven't gotten away from home since we took a honeymoon adventure several months ago. So this trip was special.

We ended up staying a few days at the El Presidente InterContinental Hotel where our friends were also staying. This hotel was in a beautiful location south of Puerto Vallarta near Mismaloya with a world class view of Banderas Bay. We had a great time relaxing, visiting, and touring around town. And thanks for the good time Jim and Kim!

After a few days relaxing, my wife and I decided to take a drive further north to Sayulita and San Pancho to spend some time there. I ended up taking a bunch of photos on this trip. So I'm planning to post more photos in my next blog entry. Enjoy the first round of photos from Puerto Vallarta.
